As a Capitals fan, you got it correct for the Capitals. Not only do we have a solid three pairings, but our pairings all put a defensive minded defenseman with an offensive minded defenseman, kind of like how Jacob Slavin is paired with Brent Burns for Carolina. It's a good way to pair your defenseman.

Fehervary is a good defensive defenseman, paired with the offensive minded Carlson. Roy is an excellent defensive defenseman (better than Fehervary), and he's paired with the offensive minded Chychrun. And TVR is a solid defensive defenseman paired with the offensive minded Sandin.

I'm really happy with all three pairings.
