Damn amazing cartoon accurate figure of Optimus Prime G1! It took Hasbro 40 years to finally build this figure cartoon accurate. Only small gripe I have is that the Matrix is very small. Definitley gonna try to get one myself. Lets hope Hasbro will release a cartoon accurate G1 Megatron soon

Mines set to arrive in October. Not really a fan of the new blast effects, but everything else about this looks perfection. Simply the best G1 era mainline Prime we'll see for the foreseeable future..

Looks great, really has that MP-44 feel in the design, both Trailer and Prime. However, like Jobby said for the MP-44 review, this figure has that noticeable backpack. It’s too big for my liking. Even so, that won’t ruin my taste if u get this figure in the future. I give it 4/5 stars for how detailed the figure is that it matches the movie well.

You can actually fix the warped blast effects by dipping them in some hot water for a few seconds to warm the plastic up and then shape it to be straight again and then let it cool and it will remain in the straight position. You can also do it for Gundam beam sabers too.

Blast effects were fine on mine but the axe is all kinds of warped and the hole you use to peg it into the arm looks like it was flattened at 2 different angles so it won't go on without sitting at a ridiculous angle compared to his arm. Don't think a hair dryer will fix it. Haven't tried the just stopped boiling water trick yet though. Mine also had the misassembled heels.
