Massimo lays into Nick for his careless behavior with Brooke and fears it will tear the Marone family apart. Jackie approaches in time to hear Nick admit that he is still in love with Brooke and would be proud if the baby is his but does not intend to put his own happiness ahead of her and Ridge’s. Sally goes to see Stephanie hoping to spill Brooke’s secret and is disappointed to find out it’s too late. Sally encourages her to seek revenge against Brooke but Stephanie states she has already forgiven her for Ridge’s sake. Sally appreciates Stephanie’s support during her recent hard times and privately vows to get rid of Brooke for her. Meanwhile, Oscar confronts Bridget about her and Deacon’s kiss saying he doesn’t like sharing. Bridget sidesteps. Later, when they tell Deacon they are leaving, he states that he will soon be out of bed giving Oscar competition for Bridget. Oscar isn’t worried as Bridget gives Deacon an emotional hug goodbye.

“I don’t understand the power this woman has on men” only one man in particular, Brad. He has this obsession with all men, even random Jackie, holding her completely blameless for her actions and thinking she’s such a great person.

This is what I meant yesterday when I commented on how unrealistic it is for Brooke to be _instantly_ forgiven by Ridge and Stephanie.

Here we have Ridge and Brooke in bed together, having a romantic scene, while they are discussing the paternity of her baby, while in the other scene we have Sally having to _remind_ Stephanie that Stephanie doesn't want Brooke with Ridge, while Stephanie just shrugs it off and says "oh well, she's his wife".

It is so obviously not good drama, but _avoidance_ of drama, all so that Brooke will have an easier path to happiness.

Ridge finally remembered he had kids. The paternity test story lines are a bit over done. Brooke and Ridge were boring too, is that why they brought Taylor back?

(I honestly thought for a second, that Brooke was going to suggest getting dressed and going to see how Eric was doing. But alas, she has never spared 1 minute's thought for Eric, not even when they were married. She never cared for him as Steph correctly told him all those years ago)

Let's look at the facts: RM and KKL are apparently not capable of credibly acting out interesting scenes together outside of bed (as how the case is later with JMW and SC). It's really the same thing in every episode. Boring as hell.

I was daytime television years old, when I found out that Joseph Mascolo never had a foreign accent in true life. He exposed himself on the Bold. In DOOL I only knew him with a foreign accent. Back then I thought it was a real life trait.

Another "who's the daddy?" storyline for Brooke. Seems like it happens with almost every one of her children. This is exactly why I stopped watching the show at this time: repetitive storytelling and stale characters.
