How to screenshot on Windows PC

Method 1: Using the Print Screen key

To take a screenshot of your entire screen, simply press the Print Screen key. This will capture a snapshot of everything that is currently displayed on your screen. The screenshot will not be saved automatically - you'll need to paste it into an image editing program like Paint or Photoshop to save it.

To take a screenshot of only a specific window, press the Alt + Print Screen keys at the same time. This will capture a screenshot of only the active window, which you can then paste and save as before.

Method 2: Using the Snipping Tool

The second method is using the Snipping Tool, which is a built-in screenshot utility in Windows. To access the Snipping Tool, go to Start - All Programs - Accessories - Snipping Tool.

Method 3: Using the Windows + PrtScn shortcut

To use this method, simply press the Windows key and the Print Screen key at the same time. The screen will briefly dim to indicate that a screenshot has been taken. You can then find the screenshot in the Screenshots folder in your Pictures.
