In this video I start to assemble the electronics of my RC4WD Trail Finder 2 Trail Truck. This ULTRA Realistic rig is a real treat to work on, and to show off to the Radio Control Enthusiasts here on Youtube!

I used:

Hitec HS-646WP High Torque Servos161oz @ 7.4v

Tekin 35t Brushed Motor & FXR Crawler System

The uber realistic construction and fabrication of parts, takes this type of RC to a whole new level. The TF2 is the successor to the highly sought after RC4WD "Trail Finder" original truck. In the TF2, the 2 Stage Selectable Transmission, Transfer Case, Leaf Spring suspension & a 1.55 Diameter Tire setup - is a real treat to see in person. Using 1080p HD, and a proper lighting setup.. I get the honour of showcasing these parts Up close, and in detail to ALL of the RC ADDiCTS that come to see RC ADVENTURES! Have fun my friends.. this is simply AMAZING!

Well we come back because we share our love for RC's and me personally, I crave to learn more about everything, and you are a great teacher :) that way I can learn about the do's and don'ts. Thanks for replying DJMedic. All the best! :)

I think they need to have an rc show on tv you know like a once a week episode showing everything from new products to how to's and you should be the host i think you would get some awesome ratings.

i feel that using a thin solder wire works the best with no flux, as flux is already in the wire. also those stupid cheap soldering irons drove me insane couldn't heat up the metals at all, just melted my plugs. thanks for your videos, and helping me find a good iron for my hobby. saved me countless headaches.

The worst part of this video was the end, when you said bye:( I could watch a 10 hour video of you building and explaining as you progress, it's so nice to listen to you Medic, you're like an RC god to me, lol. Really much respect to you Sir. I am enjoying your build video very much and learning a ton of new tricks of the trade, thanks you for that. I can't wait to see the next part of the build!!! I recon this truck is going to be EPIC on the trails. Can't wait Medic. Thank you for sharing :D

I just got to thinking as i was watching your video...besides the fact that if you started a TV series i would definitely watch it: ) I love the longer videos. kills more of my day but it also gives me something to listen to as I build..but I came to realize since I got into the hobby 4 months ago..I've started watching all your videos and learned all i know from you and your RC buddies.. I like to say thank you for being loyal to your fans and sharing your experiences with what you love to do:D

The only bad flux is using the regular plumbing flux... It's acid and with electricity flowing through it, it'll corrode. Use a non acid rosin flux or my favorite,  I got it in an electronics supply shop, it's solder paste... Basically, flux with powdered solder mixed in. Just dip the end of the wire and give it a quick zap with the iron and BAM! it's tinned! Great vids BTW!!!

The Trak Power station use to be called TeamCheckpoint TC-950. The TC-950 is my current solder station. It was a great investment and worth every penny. Plus the decal wrap for it makes it pimp!

I never sodderd before, and seeing you do it make it look easy. I will try doing it to replace the dean connectors and get traxxas connectors on the ends.

Thanks for the video.

I agree with your use of flux...I always get people asking me to solder things... I also reapply the flux to the "tinned" parts to be joined as well as adding a bit more solder to my iron. It gives you that fast flash melt with out adding too much heat. Also a shinny joint is a strong one.

Great Job on the build videos. It helps alot for others that are normally lost when they are building their kits. I'm watching this build series to be prepared for the time if / & when it comes a time for me to have the opportunity to build one of theses units myself. It also helps with other repair, or upgrade jobs we may be in the process doing. Excellent Job My Friend!! & Thanks, Rob Webb
