You’re forced to use second man press because there’s not a single situation where you don’t get punished for manual defending. The amount of times I’ve been directly in a passing lane and it goes through my legs or bounces off me right back to the opponent etc

Also constant pressure abuse for 90mins it's so frustrating that they can last a full match.

This only works if the DDA isn't stacked heavily against you, if thats the case the opponents cb lock onto you like heat seeking missiles going 100 miles per hour.

Even if you outdribble them multiple times times they can still miracolousy track back and get on the ball😂

I think the best way to defend is to anticipate and block passing lanes. Makes the game super easy. But I struggle a lot with right stick switching because of delay. It's gotten worse in this game.

This is how you use the broken machanics of the game because you haven't got a football brain and can't unlock a defences, without using these techniques.

We wouldn't have to use AI defence if the AI had better defensive positioning.

I tend to let the AI defend and block passes or track runs elsewhere because the AI just doesn't do it well enough.

I use the pressing button a lot but usually I Let the AI Go to press and with active player I cover the space (the opposite off the example in the video). It's what Works best for me, but not very useful against the best players

I full press all game but never chase and never let my cbs get out of position lol so much quitting happens

Unless the player is good, and manually switches to the challenging defender to tackle/chase when hes in desired position

to be fair, i don't think 2nd man pressure is that useful anyway.. especially near your own box... It just means there is a big gaping hole somewhere else in your def/mid which good players can see pretty clearly...

I wouldn't use 2nd man press too much near my own box... Just sit off and hope they 'f*** up'
