I will always be nostalgic about this song and this group, I remember watching their Eurovision winning performance on April 3rd 1976 prior to watching highlights of the FA cup semi final between Derby County and Manchester United on Match Of The Day - Ah Childhood memories of a more innocent time - I am still a fan of MUFC and have followed The Brotherhood Of Man since those early days I am saddened to hear of Martin Lee’s passing - condolences to his family and Friends and to Nicky, Lee and particularly Sandra - love and best wishes❤️💙♥️. The best Eurovision song ever.

I loved Martin Lee, aged 4 because he reminded me of my Dad. I would be glued to the TV when this was on. Sad to hear of his death today.

I know this song from Slovak Radio (Slovak Republic - 1976 Czechoslovak Socialist Republic), I heard it as a little boy in the 90s and I fell in love with it, and today I'm 34 and it's still a blast and they played the same thing even during socialism. Communists played quality music from the West in the Eastern Bloc as well.

I remember this performance, watched it live in the days when the Eurovision Song Contest actually mattered. They were one of the favourites but it was really tense because things could still go wrong, but they were flawless and as the song drew to a close we knew they'd probably done enough to win. I still get emotional watching it now!
