Hi Simsie, a little tip for ponds that has helped me a lot: „sketch“ the shape of the pond with terrain paint and then use the pond tool, following the outline. 🙈💕

With ponds, don't ever get a basement going under one. Even if the pond is only knee deep, and you are building the fourth basement. If the basement goes under the pond, the game camera will get all wonky whenever it gets under the pond.

With that terrain, you don't need anything on the porch beside a rocking chair.
Add a few fireflies. By night, they are magical. Dragonflies are also nice. That log is home to some turtles. You can try to catch frogs in that pond.

Always loved Kayla's landscaping, look at this it's stunning! Even if she thinks that sometimes her landscaping is too simple, I learned so much with her that it became my favorite thing to do when i'm building :)

Really cute! A good tip when combining plants is thinking "A pillar, a filler and a spiller", meaning a tall, structural piece, a bushy piece, and a hanging/groundfilling piece. /Plant nerd :)

One of my favorite houses ever was ms honeys house from Matilda because it was the cute cottage with all the flowers and this ABSOLUTELY reminds me of it and gave me huge nostalgia. Honestly best build ever
