I was thinking about first kisses the other day, specifically my first kiss. So I thought I'd share that story with you, just to show you that it really isn't that big of a deal. I actually haven't had my first kiss. I tell people I'm saving it for my wedding day because I think it's really cute to do that, but in all honesty I wouldn't mind if someone kissed me. The real reason I haven't had my first kiss is because there has never been a boy who has openly wanted to kiss me. So, a first kiss is kind of a big deal to me because it means that that guy actually likes me enough to want to kiss me or at least thinks I look kissable.

the first of something CAN or can not be the best of something..
The first time you eat your favourite food, or first time going on a rollercoaster is the best, you can ride the same coaster again but nothing is like the first time.
BUT I do agree with your current scenario, there are many in which the first is not the best time :D
