Anytime you go to self checkout you get harassed to show your card . They should check in the entrance and call it a day. Once is enough. - I started to just go to a cashier to not get harassed.

I work at Costco’s and I haven’t heard anything about them changing their prices for membership and that’s something we would’ve heard long before anyone else would’ve heard

If I let somebody use my card for Costco, then it shouldn’t matter. I feel very disrespected when I have to use my Costco membership to get in the door and then they ask me for my card at the self check out it’s honestly stupid and upsetting that all of these multi billion dollar companies are so set an all these dumb policies

Just bring the non member with you to Costco let them get their stuff and then scan your membership card or have the non member give you the money and then you get their stuff on your card. It’s the same thing as let them use your card.

I think it is unfair to expect a husband and wife to both purchase a membership because sometimes the other spouse can't go shopping for many reason like illness, working, convenience, etc. I can understand some people are giving their cards to anyone besides a direct member of their own family which is definitely wrong. But, if even that is unreasonable then maybe I should go back to SAMS Club that I was a member for many years before switching and the Only reason I switched is my son-in-law bought her a membership along with his own. Wake-up COSTCO you are going to lose business over this greedy move.

As membership I absolutely agree. The members paid for the membership. And it's stealing from the store by sharing the membership now. If you want to use your card and maybe pick some stuff up for somebody. When you're there shopping, everybody's gonna do that. Obviously, but just tell people here. Take my car to go shopping by whatever you want. And then just share the fee. That's not fair to Costco as a business.

Good for them, helping their competition. Honestly who is making your corporate decisions, moving product is your key advertisement so when people stop telling their friends that they got X or Y at Costco, but instead at Trader Joes, or hell even Walmart. Than more people will drop memberships and go elsewhere basic merchandising.

I was told I could have one family member on my card.. frankly I don't know why they charge a membership fee when their prices aren't any better than anywhere else you can just get more at one time

I don't really go to Costco and Shop but if I go to Costco or Sam's Club because I don't go very often I just go in and get a pass for the day
