A first rate UFO documentary hosted and narrated by the late Peter Jennings. I used to watch it frequently after I once recorded it on VHS.

i saw a ufo along with about 20 other people while setting up our camping site just after dusk in Squamish BC. it was crazy!!! family's were leaving abruptly with there kids crying franticly dragging there chairs and tents not even rolled up, it was small really bright and soundless, it did a 90 degree angle turn and slowly took off over the mountain. i was so creeped out but totally amazed that we all had this experience. Didn't sleep a wink that night.

I spent an entire afternoon talking with Walter Haut, the public relations officer at the 509th Bomb Group in Roswell back in the spring of 2005. Walter passed away about 4 months after.

Walter told me several stories of what he called "cooks" checking the doors and whispering elaborate stories about UFO's, aliens and abductions. He was so sick of talking about UFO's that I quickly changed the subject matter and we spent the rest of our visit talking about great food and good alcoholic drinks.

It was a delightful afternoon. Near the end of our visit, Walter looked me in the eye and said in a very serious tone, "Ivanhoe, it really happened". That's all I wanted to know.

I have to say this is the most thoughtful, respectful, fair and balanced documentary I've ever seen of the phenomenon. I'm so pleased to see what a responsible journalistic approach can provide compared to all of the sensationalistic productions which are essentially entertainment produced for commercial profit. .

Very good documentary from 2005, wowsers how fast the years go by. I remember when this aired, I made sure I didn't miss it that night, due to i knew it was going to be good, having the Great R.I.P. Peter Jennings hosting.

Just when I thought I watched all the good ones, i find this hidden gem. Thanks!!

I remember watching this when I was 5 years old. I don’t know why, but I just remembered this documentary today and found it again on YouTube. I now know why it gave me alien abduction nightmares when I was growing up.

Art Bell's sighting was exactly what I saw over Lake Mead in 1982, with two family members.
It wasn't lights in the sky. It was a HUGE triangle blocking out the stars in the desert sky. Completely silent, and vanished in seconds.

The anti UFO guy was a bit much.. 5 different aircraft flying next to each other and none of them communicated to the others. No one came forward and said "yeah, that was us"

When a witness such as Jesse Marcel who was back in 1947 present on the crash-site tells us it was "something not from this Earth" we would be well advised to believe him.

I saw one once. I saw a blue flashing light coming towards me from behind in a strange strange object. I stopped my car. Then I saw a creature coming towards me. It spoke to me and asked me for my drivers licence, if I had taken any substances or been drinking and made me get out of the car. It then kidnapped me and took my to the county jail for being under the influence whilst driving. I don't know to this day what that was, but some tell me there is a very natural explanation

Wow. So nice to see Art Bell again. Brought back so many memories listening to his show. Also, at 1:03:38 that's Dick Tufeld, the voice of the Robot on Lost in Space and the announcer for ABC for many, many years who does the voice over for the commercial break.
