Installed at ton of Certainteed shingles, mostly landmark and independence, And then I started getting calls the shingles were falling apart, I found with the landmark the backs of the shingle would slip out even using there nailling guided on the shingle and if we did walls, we'd drop the exposure by an inch and a half, so we could nail lower. Switch to IKO cambridge and had less problems

They are Certainteed Independance shingles . The Horizon just dried out and cracked within 10 -15 years.

I have nailed those before, a glorified 3 tab shingle is what that was.

I have seen it only once ...it was a dimensional shingle with a built-in three tab shingle weird very weird

We don't have that junk in Oklahoma.. We got malarkey's that is made in OKLAHOMA City 🏙️
