3D Printing in Malta at scale with @invent3d939. We tour the facility and check out their print farm in action! Plus, a shiny new printer and platform for sustainable and recycled printing of furniture?

Invent3D

Our trip to Malta was truly a highlight, and visiting the Invent3D 3D printing farm was a real highlight of the trip. David, the owner and operator of the farm, was an incredible host, showing us around the facility and sharing his knowledge about the farm's capabilities and services. We were amazed by the sheer scale of the operation, as well as the level of organization and efficiency that David had implemented in the farm. The farm serves a wide range of customers, from small businesses to large corporations, providing them with high-quality 3D printing services and meeting their diverse needs. It was fascinating to see the farm in action, with dozens of 3D printers running simultaneously, creating various parts and prototypes. David was also kind enough to let us see some of the finished products and share his thoughts about the future of 3D printing. It was a real pleasure to chat with him and learn about how his farm is making a difference in the industry. Overall, the trip to Malta was wonderful, and we are grateful for the opportunity to visit Invent3D and learn from David.

If this was anywhere else, it would be a sizable and cool print-farm company. But to pull this all off on Malta just brings it to another level. Amazing place and they seem to keep building, so no need to worry about stagnation and a race-to-the bottom between other print farms (if they show up on the island). Cool stuff.

Amazing shop. He's built something that huge so quickly. Must have a gift with sourcing projects from companies.

That place looks familiar. Wonder what goes on in there xD

Love those enclosures. I threw a few cardboard boxes around my printer before I got the panels for my actual enclosure, and it was honestly stellar.

I love that👍 Joel you’re an inspiration. Just killing time in hotel in Baku before going to work offshore. My First was a ender 3 v2, then CR 10 smart, then Anycubic Mono 4k and now a Bambu x1c about a year ago, not to mention the lazers. Yes i blame you too ( in a good way ) its a fun beautiful hobby and career if you want. God bless and High 5. 👍🙏

This is a really amazing video, especially for somebody like me who didn’t know anything about 3-D printing other than it existed just three weeks ago. I only just got into 3-D printing after receiving my first machine 10 days ago.. I think it’s so cool to still be able to get excited about new tech, and be able to dig in for a relatively small price into this type of hobby, which also has an ROI for the home user.

It's crazy how a <10 printer garage operation can turn into a 150+ machines company with nearly all kinds of profitable 3D printing avenues in 4 years. They must have went all-in with time and effort and money.

Great video, great print farm setup. Not a surprise to see a lot of Prusa machines, chosen for their reliability, but I was a bit surprised to also see a bunch of Artillery Sidewinders in use. I have gotten very good results with one in the past, and really like the large print volume, but had a lot of different issues with it to the point where I just don't use it anymore.

I'd already watched some @invent3d939 videos and was impressed. This tour is great. Love that they use pretty much every aspect of commercial 3D printing in their business.

I was definitely wondering about that x-axis stability on the furniture machine. It looks like a big bendy square in that direction, but I guess it doesn't matter being the speed that it is. It's also probably more rigid than I imagined.

this guy reminds me a lot of Mr. Prusa himself. Their speech intonation is really similar and they both rock a beard and both friendly and humble dudes
