I stole wood to make a lot of $$$

I'm supporting 5 projects and paying for a 1l can of DuroGrit and postage to whereever you are. It must be a community project (you fix something broken in a public place) and you must take pictures of the finished project. We can do a shared post on Instagram when you're done.

I'm an ambassador of Rubio Monocoat. I'm not paid a dime, but I do it because they make great products, and I get to test them out before they hit the market. I have been playing with DuroGrit for some time now, and it's honestly the best outdoor woodfinish I have tried - ever.

I did something similar a few years ago. I had been unemployed for a few months and there was a park near my house which I would spend a lot of time at. I noticed that many of the benches were missing hardware or the wood was rotten, so one day I made a list of everything which needed to be repaired and I went to the big box home improvement store and bought all the nuts and bolts. Then I took some of the scrap wood from my pile (all salvaged from construction site cutoffs), and cut everything to size. With this, I took it all to the park one rainy afternoon and repaired the benches.

I actually never told anyone about it until a few weeks go, when a friend and I were sitting on one of the benches I repaired. But it felt good to be useful, especially during that period of unemployment when my idleness was driving me crazy.

I’m a 78 yr old female. I love watching you work. I think your work is beautiful. I never subscribe to anyone, but I did for you so I could keep watching you make your beautiful projects.

What an awesome way to give back to the community, and possibly make memories for a young family, or just someone to sit, and gather their thoughts! Much love and respect brother. Keep up the great content, and wonderfully put together videos!

Hi Jesper. I think it was very noble of you fixing public benches on your expense. It might not have been wrong taking the benches and use it to your benefit but it was most definitely even better taking them back so most beach goers can use the benches to enjoy the outdoor scenery. And i am a firm believer in Karma.... You will be greatly blessed in your life just by doing that little act of kindness. You did not let the greed for money rule your ethnic values. Kudos to you👌🏼

I work in a carpentry and after some months of learning I came up with the idea of fully equiping a van with tools and drive around rebuilding stuff to improve the spaces, glad I'm not the only one with the mindset!

This is one of the reasons people like me watch you because it's not all about what you can get for yourself . Please keep up the great work.
