Thank you so much for these videos. I don't understand how the two carbons attached to the chiral center in the cyclopentane aren't the same? They both seem to be double-bonded to one carbon and single-bonded to two other carbons.

On the last carbon (the one that looked like a chiral center but wasn't), how do you know that the methyl groups are identical? Going by your response to Matt Wayne, couldn't you also draw a dashed line between the methyl groups and argue that each side is non-identical?
