How to compute marginal and joint probabilities using a two-way classification table (Chapter 3)

In this tutorial we review how to compute marginal probabilities, joint probabilities (intersection), and the probability of the union of two events. We do all of this using a two-way classification table (contingency table). We also discuss the concepts of mutually exclusive events and independent events.
