Moral is the story is to not show acts of ibadah to show off or to satisfy anyone while commiting acts of ibadah. That actually is shirk ul asghar which refers to the minor shirk, the manifestations of shirk ul asghar is when doing acts of ibadah in the intention to show off or to not have the right intention for the ibadah.
