Versailles Palace 🇫🇷the BEST PLACE for a day trip from Paris (surviving bee sting, the Louvre) EP. 5

Hello everyone!

This is my 2nd visit to the Versailles palace!

Versailles Palace is just outside of Paris and it was the royal residence of many French kings. It was built by King Louis XIV to flaunt his wealth and power, which is why the palace is so lavish. Later, King Louis XV and King Louis XVI also lived here. Louis XV made some changes and expansion to the palace, making it even more beautiful. However, when Louis XVI was king, he faced troubles and eventually had to leave Versailles during the French Revolution.

Versailles is one of my favourite during this trip! Definitely a good place to drop by if you're in Paris!

Remember that when you land somewhere in Europe that the distances to other countries are no longer that far... so for example consider to travel by train once to Amsterdam (The Netherlands), after arrival at Ams Central Station in general everything (Hotels etc.) are in walking distance (and if needed the International Airport Schiphol is just 15 minutes by train from here). Traveling by train is more enjoyment (than aircraft) because of the envirioment you can enjoy... Make sure for every travel : First Aid kit, plastic cover to protect body and feet from the rain and make sure about emergency money (in hidden compartment on your body) (in case you lose your wallet or get pickpockets rob you). Go to restaurants like Bouillon Chartier at Grands Boulevard, or Bouillon Pigalle, it will not cost more €40 for 2

Hi lovely, move on quickly to your next destination. Paris is full of bed bugs, the metro stations smelt of urine and have no escalators, many of the people there are too proud to speak English and pickpockets & thefts are normal occurrences. There is no reason to remain in Paris longer than you should.
