As someone who's worked a good amount of service positions I love when customers have genuine "unscripted" conversations. I so much wanna talk about ghost instead of "how you doin?" "Can't complain" "wouldn't help if I did" "forced laugh"

I would love such a conversation xD In my cashier days, there wasn't anything I liked more than being silly with customers or talking about the books they bought or the travels they went on

I do the “here’s an unrelated question” think all the time xD or “this is completely unrelated but” then proceed to just say something that I find cool or interesting

I have seen a video where she asked this question and I didn’t get why. But now I do. It is the way she gets to start a conversation with out needing, for lack of better term, social skills.

LOL That’s literally my go-to question in certain social situations (Either aliens or ghosts)

It always makes the conversation way more interesting/easier to engage with if the person has a story to tell and then you’ve also given them an opportunity to talk about their own experiences!!! It’s a win-win 😊

What a pretty drink!
I was a bar supervisor and honestly I always absolutely loved and welcomed interesting conversations like this.
In real life I’m a very private and alone person and do nothing so my work was also my social life and I loved meeting new people like this.outside of my job I’m awkwardly incapable of small talk and get overwhelmed.
I also would have known anything related to a ghost story or haunted history of the place so you would have gotten all my too much useless information.

Biggest reason i don't like alcohol: it burns. That basically ruins it for me so the only way I can comfortably get drunk is with low alcohol content stuff that tastes amazing otherwise
