Its important to note that whilst the duo mission exists as a source for a guaranteed drop of the exotic class item, it is possible to get them from any chest in the patrol space where Overthrow activities are. I don't know if it requires at least one completion of the duo mission first, but I was able to get a drop from a basic chest (not even an event reward) in the Blooming, and a friend got two this way, one in the Blooming and one in the Landing. So its not tied to the daily rotator either. It seems to be around 1 in 50 at best, 1 in 100 chests at worst.

It's literally bugged. I spent 6 hours redoing the overthrows again and again. Each time, only 2 of the 3 witches spawned. I've already done it on my character, so it's not like I don't know how to do it. It jusy bugs and doesn't spawn one of the witches sometimes.

I had such a blast trying to figure it out. I found a tweet saying “who’s this hive guy?” And was like huh, who is that hive guy. Turns out all 3 areas had a hive guy and big beam of light appeared in the sky

Bruh i unintentionally did this quest to almost the end without knowing 😭😭 I only didn't bank all the orbs and I'm guessing I have to do it all over again now😥
