Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was on Thursday convicted in a 2019 criminal defamation case over his remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surname and sentenced to two years in jail. The court has also granted him 30 days to appeal the decision.

In politics there is always mudslinging across the board. Rahul and Kejriwal have made personal egergious attacks againsts opponents that's the difference. On one side he says he is all about love and hug and then utmost angry and frustrated man. Last time he has Ambani and Modi chor, this time he doesnt talk about that at all. Now he came out with Adani and 20, 000 crore slogan. BJP must be hold accountabvle for any wrong doing but there is Vajpayee and Advani way of articulation when in opposition.

1. Why is the Defamatuon law a criminal one and where was the congress when Subramanium Swamy had taken it all the way to Supreme court.
2. Why have no other leaders been sentenced under the Defamation case ?
3. Did RG lawyers explain to him that apology would have made the case against him weak but he choose not to do it ?
4. If RG choose not to do it, then why is he and the rest of the congress blaming the BJP ?
