I love PRS satin finishes (have one on the S2 Vela) and even if not on a budget, I would buy this model over some more expensive ones. Add a 24-08 version for a few bucks more and I buy one despite having more than enough guitars already. Also, the moment you make a Fiore in satin, I will buy my third one.
Lovely reviewers, but I was convinced after the first one... A lesson I have learned over the last years: when Jason says a guitar is good, I have to hide my wallet 🙂

I have an SE 24 I bought for $600 CAD (on sale from $949) and love it. Plays great and sounds great, I’d like to give one of these a try so my SE can have a play date…

The satin neck feels great, push-pull pot for single coil sounds, rosewood board is almost a perfect match with the charcoal variant, plus came with a gig bag. Easily the best deal out for 500. Just added locking tuners and ready to get 100's to 1000's of hours of play out this great sounding guitar.

About a year ago I asked some PRS forums what they thought about PRS releasing some $400-600 guitars and trying to dominate that area of the market. They all told me it was a terrible idea and that the company shouldn't stoop to such a low standard when they specialize in top shelf instruments. Now that it's out, they love it. And I'm a bit salty about it

I gotta say, the se ce is the best guitar at its price point ive ever seen. You go to your favorite guitar shop that has one, pull it down and compare it to any other 500 dollar guitar on their wall, the choice is gonna be really clear. To me, it feels more like an 800-1100 dollar guitar.

I was tempted by the SE CE24 Standard Satin model, especially with the new colors - but then the CE24-08 dropped a few days ago. Straight to Sweetwater it was and that might be my last new guitar for the year. (I said MIGHT. :) )

I got one today, in red. And compared to USA model, it's pretty good, except about 10 things that are annoying. Starting with hum buckers that just don't sound good. I wish I could just take it to PRS UK and say, please - give me replacement pack of humbuckers. But I don't think they will bother with a £499 instrument.

I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING THE PRICE POINT, FOR THE PRICE . THE PRICE RANGE, BUDGET PRICE SICK OF IT ! IT'S ABOUT THE FREAKIN GUITAR !! I HAVE THREE PRS GUITARS SOON TO HAVE A FORTH AND IT'S THE QUALITY THE SOUND THE FEEL, NOT THE DAMN PRICE
