Hi Professor,
Thanks a lot for providing us your valuable knowledge through this video lecture series.

I have a question regarding the physical meaning of the pde i.e for a Elliptic pde does not have any charateristics. Why are we using the central difference scheme for Elliptic pde? Do we need to use the different type of discretization scheme according to the type of pde?

What's the method of finite volume to solve this kind of problems? Do you have any reference? I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much!!

hello i would like to thank you very much for all the efforts that you are making for those videos, sir i have a question can you give me a link so i can learn how to saulve the 12 equtions to find the tempratures corresponding at each situation

I'm trying to use the finite difference method to solve a PDE (1-D heat pde ), but in my case I've to substitute for the "corner grid points" i.e T(0, 0), so which value should I use?
Thanks in advance

Sir, I had a question are the nodes named in a particular manner . Can we use the same convention in naming nodes as we do in matrices  ?

how we will deal with the problem if the bottom face is insulated. Can you please explain this @numericalmethodsguy

why do you make it a 4x5 node grid and you said it was because delta x and delta y is 0.6. I dont get it, this makes no sense to me
