4 Killer Serves (Detailed Tutorial)

It’s over 5 years ago since the ‘4 Killer Serves’ video graced the internet and so I thought it’d be a good time to revamp the video, update the content and recreate it with some more detail.

So, here it is:
The Kicker
Fast Serve (Down the Line)
Super Wide Sidespin Serve
The Ghost Serve

The video is around 10 minutes longer than the original, with some extra detail and a number of different angles too. So, be sure to watch and pick up on those additional teaching points.

Some how I have developed a combination of the Ghost serve and wide serve together. Thanks to this tutorial. I have got a lot of tips from Craig. Funny I watch this repeatedly, setting my phone on the Table Tennis Table and watching his instructions step by e
step. I have a long way to go but enjoying trying new serves to my game. I have watched this video probably 50 plus times when i practice these serves. I started with one and getting the feel. I am 70 yrs old and play table tennis 3 to 4 times a week with a group at The Seymour Center in chapel Hill. We all have a great time. various levels, from 800 to 2400 players.

Nice as usual. It is a shame in Table tennis each element takes months and even years of practice. When I practice these, I film myself, then watch, then cry, then practice again, then cry again, until the serves look more or less good to at least the eye.... Cheers, Craig, I can't wait to be back to my table to test/try these today. 🙃

I have great results using that super wide serve. I also do the opposite side using the reverse pendulum serve with equally awesome effects.

"sometimes you dont have to look... " ~ take two hahaha :D, i believe the harderst to return one is the ghost serve, especially on the third bounce is already on your table, serve it low. thanks always sir!

Решил ещё раз вас поблагодарить за ваши видео про подачи кикер, это действительно очень полезно для всех без исключения, подачу кикер с нижним вращением я освоил достаточно быстро, чем очень удивил всех с кем играю в настольный теннис но вот освоить кикер подачу с верхним вращением ни как не получается, попрошу вас всё таки сделать отдельное видео по этой кикер подаче, СПАСИБО.
