I did this back in the late 90's with a girl i liked very much. I called and lefy her a voicemail and told to call me back. Because i was such a emotionally abandonment issues person. I would turn the volume down on my phone for an hour or so because i couldnt stand the wait. A lot of the times. She wouldnt call back for hours. Of course. It turned out that i was only the side dude.
