Chances of watching the Big Bang w/ Professor Brian Cox

The Big Bang is a physical theory that describes how the universe expanded from an initial state of high density and temperature. It was first proposed as a physical theory in 1931 by Roman Catholic priest and physicist Georges Lemaître when he suggested the universe emerged from a "primeval atom". Various cosmological models of the Big Bang explain the evolution of the observable universe from the earliest known periods through its subsequent large-scale form. These models offer a comprehensive explanation for a broad range of observed phenomena, including the abundance of light elements, the cosmic microwave background radiation, and large-scale structure. The uniformity of the universe, known as the flatness problem, is explained through cosmic inflation: a sudden and very rapid expansion of space during the earliest moments.

He has a way of making the most indescribably difficult subject to get your head around so easy to understand. If he was my science teacher at school I'd have had straight As!

The math numbers are too big and vast distance of the universe is mind boggling to even comprehend it.

"Whether or not that's the origin of time!" Great question showing an open mind.

What makes the BigBang so amazing to me was the fact that we're all a product of it. Not every explosion can create order or anything good at all. When something explodes, it usually destroys and not creates, the only thing it creates is chaos.

The question is whether our civilization will last long enough to explore these mysteries.
It would be great to use our scientific abilities to live sustainability.

I think learning about actual science generally makes people happier. I know I am happier having known all these facts. Really opens up what humans can and could be doing, and what we might do.

Makes sense since the edge of the universe as far as we can tell has the exact same properties as a black hole. Which then goes into some very serious theories of a universe being present at the ultimate depth of every black hole and our universe itself being inside a black hole...

I am an engineer who designs some of the machines that make the things that most of you rely on every day yet I’m humbled by him who somehow can avoid chaos, politics and business management and yet understand all of them and the universe at the same time. 😮
