Android Auto actually looks pretty sick. CarPlay looks much more simplified in comparison, but I guess that's a good thing when driving. Great vid dude!

Android Auto looks great and appears to be very easy to navigate. I also love how it opens automatically instead of requiring the extra step of launching it. Apple's CarPlay looks like it was designed 15 years ago. Navigating through the interface looks very "clunky".

Android Auto's user interface and overall experience seems to kick Apple CarPlay up an down the block. But, let's not fanboy out here and go all _my platform is better than your platform._ The real message here is that this Hyundai supports BOTH platforms. If you're an Apple person, you're good to go. If you're an Android person, you're all set. This is something that every car manufacturer needs to implement.

Being an Apple fanboy, I actually think that Android Auto looks a lot cleaner. CarPlay is nice, but aesthetically, Android Auto is about 10 times better. Both are really cool ideas, and are integrated very well. Props to Android for creating a very nice look, while keeping it simple. CarPlay is just… I don't know… OVERLY simple.

OMG! You are the FIRST person to actually show and say "You can use the VOICE button on your steering wheel to get Apple Siri to wait for your response". Unfortunately this depends on what head unit you have. I know Alpine has this mode for VOICE buttons, and Chinese head units do not, you have to touch the screen for the Android decks.

I'd prefer CarPlay just because the heavy Siri integration would keep my eyes (and other driver's eyes) on the road, where they should be. I honestly can't believe Android Auto has a full on keyboard in some apps, that doesn't seem safe at all. I will say the design is definitely better with Android Auto though.

One thing I am wondering about is if you can still play regular AM and FM radio stations while connected to android auto or car play so you can view navigation but also listen to the regular radio or satellite radio.

When will this be available? I just bought a 2015 Sonata Sport 2.0T Linited yesterday. Only apps installed are Pandora and Sound Hound. Not other apps are available yet in the downloads store.
