The New York Stock Exchange Observes Juneteenth as a Market Holiday for the First Time Ever.

U.S. stock markets observe Juneteenth for the first time ever. While the holiday technically fell on Sunday, June 19, the New York Stock Exchange is closed in observance on Monday. The markets resume normal hours on Tuesday, June 21.
