Lizard King

This Fence lizard (Sceloporus undulatus) is easily a cool customer. I reach down, help it onto my hand and the lizard goes to sleep. The rest is history. Fence lizards are very common throughout the US and can be found and heard on most summer days if you are in their habitat. If you are into herping, these reptiles are a sure win for the team. These reptiles are sexually dimorphic and when mature, you can easily figure out if you have a male or female, the males have a beautiful metallic blue chin and sides. Lots of predators will hunt Fence lizards including, Hawks, Snakes, Cats, Crows, Turkey, Foxes and many more. #wildlife #cute #nature

Blue-tongued skinks and bearded dragons are my favorite to work with but the little wild skinks and anoles are my favorite to watch outside. I know its night but I'm still impressed it went to sleep on you. That has to be the coolest feeling when they trust you that much! 😍🥰

You make your own luck. You seem to be in nature a lot and are very observant. That’s what I attribute to my success in finding rare and interesting organisms, though I’ve never had a snake crawl into my lap!

Where you found that pseudo scorpion a video on them would be nice never knew that also raccoon would try feeding on these lizards and blue jays i thought that blue jays won't feed on small mammals until recently i found that they are omnivores
