My medical records showed in 1975 when I was released from active duty, that I had severe hearing loss, ringing in the ears. I didn't put a claim in until a few months ago when I turned 70. I missed out on a lot, don't make the same mistake I did Veterans.

I got a letter a couple of years ago and it told me that I am rated 50%, BUT only got paid for 20%.

Someone help with this simple answer. Im 100% pnt 58 years old with the new rating for cpap haven't used my cpap for 2 years because it makes me have nightmares and I feel like I'm being attacked with my ptsd. Do I grandfather in or not...

Would it be worth going for a higher rating on my tinnitus? I’m already 100% P&T. 70% for PTSD and another 60 with all of my other ailments!? Hips, knees back no fat layer left on the bottom of my feet. I haven’t put a claim for that. Should I go for any more? Or should I just leave it alone? Also, I get SSDI so what is your advice? Should I go for more or take the chance of the VA dick me around again??!
