More likely they know it's a dud and they want to put it out as soon as possible and blame the poor ticket sales on the strike. Also, gives more of a gap between this inevitable bomb and the next Superman movie. Basically, they're taking out the trash.

Aquaman and the lost Kingdom is still coming out December 20, 2023 so we don't have to worry about a delay!

It may seem a little odd that Warner Bros. would delay so many of its big upcoming releases while choosing to leave Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom right where it has been for a while.

Positive: Mamoa is very popular. The first movie was a hit and most of the same people are working on the sequel.

Negative: Features the DCEU's Second Most Divisive Actor.

Honestly, I don't think Jason Momoa is as big of a draw as the video makes him out to be. Sure, he's charismatic and handsome, but outside of Aquaman, his movies as a leading actor have been direct-to-VOD/streaming junk.

Millions of Johnny Depp supporters made it clear they're never going to see this film unless they take Amber Heard out of it so hopefully they took Amber Heard out if they want it to be a success

I have no doubt they delay it cause now they knew we was serious about not watch their movie when they had Ezra in the flash that they try everything to get rid of Amber and it funny those this could all been avoided if WB had just list to us and got rid of both of them and the flash would made some money and I wonder those it those same people who decide to keep both of them are still at WB

Fast X with Jason Momoa did make over 750 million even though it was kind of terrible. also, if Aquaman 2 is terrible, WB recently found success with the meg 2 in China even though the RT score was under %30.

Put Aquaman into the December winter holiday season when people will likely watch it. It could do well at that time. Hopefully the strike is over and they can market it properly by then.
