Finally, a millionaire who spends money on things that are actually interesting! A T-rex skull and The Amazing Spider-Man #1 would be pretty dope to have.

Crappy movies are an honest way to make a living. I respect that way more than just declaring bankruptcy and leaving everyone hanging.

He worked his ass off doing like 5 movies a year for a decade to get out of debt. I've worked on set in Hollywood, it's hard work, long hours and not at all what people think. Good for him.

The man took responsibilities for his bad decisions, tucked away his ego and worked his ass off to pay them debts off... Absolute respect 🔥🔥🔥

Nicolas Cage buying snakes to breed them is probably the most Nicolas Cage thing Nicolas Cage has ever done.

Cant blame Cage, he just spent “adult money “ on things he always wanted as a kid that his folks probably told him he couldn’t have. If that’s not the ultimate goal I don’t know what is.. lol

I can't recommend that movie "Pig" enough. You forget you're watching Nicholas Cage, I was like, WOW! He really can act.

I hope now that he’s paid off his debt he can start being pickier about the movies he chooses to star in and not just accept any movie script that comes his way. I think he’s such a good actor with a huge range .

That's when he said "I'm gonna steal the declaration of independence."

Actually, he hasn't made the movies he's made simply due to debt; he was one of the first celebrities/people who believed in streaming movies decades before it became fashionable. He picks a huge range of roles with some specifics throughout (including morals), and is an actor who truly wants to bring the director's vision to life - not simply HIS vision and ego. He is a FEARLESS actor, truly loving what he does - and it shows.

His low budget movies are some of Nicholas Cages best movies. They are original and has no Hollywood propaganda

I’m really happy to see his comeback in recent years. He’s been making straight bangers lately. Now he’s even mainstream again with his newest movie coming out. Can’t wait to see what he does in the future

Man, I remember hearing about his crazy spending habits and massive debt back when I was a kid. Dude was Hollywood royalty (Coppola) and was a big name actor, but his irresponsibility and impulsivity had him blow thru all his earnings & inheritance and rack up a massive amount of debt. I don't think anyone believed he could actually pay it off.
But damn, he finally did it, and I'm so happy to hear that he did! That took a lot of hardwork, dedication, and humility to work those random roles for yearsss, when most ppl would've just declared bankruptcy. Mad respect to Nick Cage. What a fuggin legend.

My boy Nicolas Cage is free from the Caged Debt caused by his batshit crazy spending.
He trusted himself to find a way out of the Debt, fitting sense he is the man who coined the words.
"Sorry Boss, But There's Only Two Men I Trust. One Of Them's Me. The Other's Not You."
Good for him, he deserves it. My boy has given me and my Brothers countless laughably joyable times.

Joe was such a great movie on a relatively tiny budget. Movies rarely make me cry, and that one got right at the ol heart strings

Tom Wolfe, the author, spoke of how in 1932 his father supported his family in rural poverty, making $320 that year.
In the early '60s Wolfe's novels made him feel over a million dollars, and he ended the year broke. That was an eye-opening experience.
After that he watched his spending, because NO MATTER HOW MUCH MONEY YOU MAKE, it's easy to spend it all.
