More or less! It is not any harder to turn stabilized blanks vs. hard wood, if that is the gist of your question. With some of the really punky wood that I have stabilized that was literally falling apart and completely unusable, it ended up turning fine but without any shavings, more like dust. It generally does not tear out any or blow up

Really enjoyed your video. I built a system with a brake bleeder and mason canning jars using Min Wax wood hardener as a stabilizer. Where did you get your vacuum chamber? I think I want to go a little more high tech like you. Many thanks.
