Ins:Icardi, isco/lemar, SAVIC from Lazio and Alderwield. Outs: Giroud, Pedro and Cahill. Most likely Conte is gone so we are going back to a 4 in the back formation. The most important player to buy this summer is going to be Savic because our biggest weakness is our midfield, If not Savic we can try for Kovacic.

The board needs to learn from their mistakes during the past 3 windows. Only Kanté and Alonso have turned out to be brilliant acquisitions in recent years and they were second choice options behind Nainggolan and Alex Sandro.

We need to phase out certain players;

Fabregas; brilliant on his day, is well past his peak. His defensive frailties and lack of legs were all too evident against Barça.

Bakayoko; thus far has been the worst signing I have literally ever seen. He can't control the ball, he can't pass, he can't score, he is tactically clueless and defensively naive. He may be low on confidence, but if he doesn't improve big time between now and May then he has to go.

Pedro; I like him as a player and he popped up with some brilliant goals last year. However, he'll be 31 soon and is past his peak. If we are bringing in Leon Bailey then he will have to make way.

Moses; If a new manager arrives and switches to a back four then Moses has no place in the team. I think he performs his defensive duties well and gets up and down the flank excellently. However, he is one of the worst crossers of a ball I have ever seen.

Cahill; a fantastic servant for the club, but unless he is prepared to sit on the bench and fill in during cup games, similar to Terry last year, he will have move on.

We need to bring in:

Isco; direct replacement for Cesc. He has fallen out of favour with Zidane, but on his day he is one of the best creative midfielders around.

Bailey; a Chelsea fan, a brilliant prospect who has dragged Leverkusen up the Bundesliga table single-handedly this year. With game time and confidence, he could become our version of Leroy Sané, very similar players.

Milinkovic-Savic or Jorginho; both far superior to Bakayoko. They are dynamic on the ball and defensively astute.

Alderweireld; best CB in the league alongside Azpi. Refusing to sign an extension with Spurs, if we meet his wage demands and £40 million price tag I could see this happening.

Icardi; unlikely but if the money is right then Inter may be prepared to sell. I can't see it happening

If we were to lose Courtois then I would want Oblak as a replacement. Has all the qualities Courtois has, just better with distribution and reflex saves.

Can someone please explain to me why Chelsea seems to be on a mission to collect injured home grown players. We purchase Drinkwater injured, we bought Ross Barkley and now we are interested in Luke Shaw after we already have Alonso and Palmari? Please more on. Lets address the important moves with the Belgians. Keep Bats at least until the next manager gets to assess him. And if Hazard and Courtois are leaving be tactical about replacements. I personally don't think it's the end of the world if both of those two were to leave if we're smart about replacement. Eden Hazard for example if we could work out with Barcelona some kind of Exchange plus money for hazard I would take Dembele and immediately buy Mahrez and we would more than likely be better off than with Hazard. Or if we get Griezmann from A Madrid then again he's free to go. Hell even use the Real interest to get Asensio or Isco for Hazard and again immediately get Mahrez or Adama Traore and again we would be better off because for as great as Eden Hazard is his goal tally and assist ratio is just not that outstanding

I think expecting us to sign so called "big" names is far fetched. Also, it shouldn't be the need to do so. Look at Spurs and Liverpool. Yes people will say they haven't won anything, but they've both set up teams which are highly entertaining and also have very high quality throughout the squad. For me, it isn't about spending so many millions on one player like Utd have done for e.g, but scouting for high quality players. Dybala would be a pipe dream as we are talking about a player who is wanted by all the big clubs across Europe, but is also playing for a massive club in Juventus already. He doesn't need to leave and Juve don't need or want to sell.
