Today I will compare Galaxy S4 vs. iPhone 5 iOS 7.

Spec comparisons no longer matter with top of the range phones. The factors which now matter:
Size - Do you want a large video friendly display, or a smaller phone aimed at allowing one handed use.
iCloud - Do you own other apple products and rely on the iCloud for integration.
UI - Do you want widgets, or a basic app screen interface.

The choice is mainly down to the factors above, which are subjective. Camera, specs, screen quality etc are no longer significantly different between the two.

Thats a fluffy concept and hardly justifies the price tag. Everything an iphone can do, an android can do better and more.

Samsung S4 comes with two stock browsers... Chrome and Internet. I prefer the latter for it's speed and UI but the Samsung one is great for it's motion and gesture controls inbuilt into it so you can scroll from one tab to the other by just waving your hand and it has the Smart Scroll and Air View option as well.

okay i have tried the s4 AND the iphone 5. Here is what i found out. S4 has many neat features however are not perfected. Sure, it has a quad core processor but the frame rates drop while playing games. It has a bigger screen but it takes more from the battery so the battery life of both phones were similiar for me in everyday use. Another downside with the quad core is that the phone heats up after about 20minute of playing games which shows how much battery it drains.

do you prefer a completly closed OS? iOS is not open Source, Android is, that makes a big difference in terms of developpement and personalization

Go into your settings>About Phone>Tap Build Number 5 times to activate developer options, press back key and go into the developer options, scroll down to animation scale tab and turn all of them off or put them at 0.5x ... trust me. it makes a world of difference and makes it stupidly fast and responsive and if you have an AT&T version make sure you update it cause AT&T put so much junk on it that made it slow down so they pushed an update for the issue. Deactivate S Voice too.

Yes, I know a lot of people with the Antenna problem. I can confirm the issues and we went to the Iphone store and the sales guy said we needed a software update. the bumper case did the trick though.
Android has issues but you said "THATS the point, Apple wouldn't bring this if it works like that" Yes apple fixes the issues. Android does too.

I don't know what kind of problems you have but my phone works great.

See the touchless scrolling feature in S4 in this video - he needed several tries before it scrolled - THATS the point, Apple wouldn't bring this if it works like that) So that's not product bashing in your opinion. We all know how Apple has had a lot of software release issues. The galaxy S2 is an very old device by android standards and you are using the phone as your point of reference. My old HTC ONE X with chrome is faster browsing than the Iphone 5 and that's fact.

recentley bought an s4 as an upgrade from the iphone 5, at first you feel that the s4 is way to laggy but you kinda get used to it.
