You know you are in trouble if you see Jim Cantore setting up to do a broadcast.

If Jim Cantore isn’t a G I don’t know who is. He’s always been the wildest going into these storms.

When word got out that Jim Cantore was setting up shop in Tampa, people starting taking this thing a lot more seriously. This is the second time a major hurricane was coming right at us and at the last minute, turned and hit Punta Gorda. Charlie did the same thing in 2004. I've lived in Florida my whole life and these are the only two hurricanes that ever had me packing my stuff to leave.

If anyone wants to help, don't send goods or items. Send money to local organizations. If you send goods, they have to arrange storage to store and sort it and a great expense. If you send cash, the locals can get what they need much quicker.

Well, it doesn’t take an Einstein to know bad things are gonna happen when you stand in the street during a hurricane!

Twitter just doesn't know that Jim really is the realest G. He's been doing this for years, and it's his true passion. One of the few members of the American Workforce that never works a day in his life.

I don’t know why they do this I think it’s stupid they can film it live inside a safe building and show us from there then risking your life. I think it’s just stupid

After living through too many hurricanes and tornados in FLORIDA throughout the past years 1993 -22
It amazes me to this day
Why people want to blame someone else for their decision not to leave take care of themselves
I have compassion beyond for everyone it is heart wrenching to see anyone or any animal go through the trama of storms
The loss of life for any one person or any animal is too much too many
The recoveries are substantial to each of us and each of you
Every single person involved in the preparation of storms no matter how severe each storm is expected to be
Is doing everything for everyone’s safety
Most have experienced something in their own lifetime
No one not one single person can ever completely predict what will happen
Every weather expert every political Representative every FEMA person everyone wants each person who might be affected to be safe

We are told continuously to leave and get out of the storms path

When will we learn ? We are responsible for our own life and those we love our families or our animals and
No one can force anyone to leave their homes either

It’s absolutely amazing that any buildings can stand up to that.
