The old jumpscare is made on purpose because the old man inside the suit checks on you if your his son because he knows his son works as a nightgaurd.

Fun fact there is a theroy that Springtraps old jumpscare looke so lame because he is looking into the Night guards eyes to see if it is his son. And thats just a theroy a game theroy.😅
