I wouldnt recommend the Alienware 51m to anyone. I ordered one with a 2070, had it 4 months main board fried from heat.
Alienware tech told me its not designed for long play periods, but they sent me a refurbished 1 but with upgraded gpu of 2080 could only play 3-4 hours the heat got so bad it caused the games to freeze up and you have to wait 20 mins for it to cool down to keep playing.
They have sent me another...so that's 3 in a 1 year and 5 months....its so bad that alienware didn't even want the other laptops sent back to them.
Now lets talk about upgrading in ...the new alienware m51 R2 has different board design so you can't even upgrade the R1's which is miss leading advertisment.
In the past I only used ASUS Rog great company but wanted a I use the Msi Titan, I have to say its the true BEAST!
