Randy Johnson was formidable but the most intimidating ever? I can think of 3 guys that might argue that point:
Don Drysdale, Bob Gibson, & J.R. Richard. Al 3 of whom were extremely intimidating. Drysdale & Gibson were both known to put a fastball in your ear hole if you crowded the plate, and if you dared to showboat after hitting a home run you wouldn't hit one on your next at bat.
