How long are all those addons going to be produced for? How are folk who bought the earlier models doing with spares and addons? You can still get blades that fit the Stanley 45/55 type planes and similar from other brands from places like Lee Valley (as well as Lee Valley's own Multiplane).

I am impressed. Beautiful workmanship. Multi function. And Expensive, currently $669 for the base tool. I can get along without one. Still, thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂

Well the plane is down under $350, but by the time you get all the other profile kits, you're looking at over $3, 000!
I don't think I'm in their target demographic....haha!
Router bits are cheap.

Model name in the title and description of the video is wrong. HP, not PH

Cool idea but I'd wait until something like this is available at about 300, which seems fair because I could buy most of the separate planes this combines to for that and not be dealing with proprietary parts if replacements are needed. While I'm sure they make a nice product, that list price has entirely lost touch with reality.

I've had too many issues with High-End Bridge City Tools products. The Try Squares that won't stay square despite getting comparatively little use. The CS-3's bad pencil holding that makes it barely useful and less accurate than it should be. The awkward design and large size of the UG-1; it's too large to keep on me, it doesn't do it's features as well as other universal or individual tools. The UG-1 is going to stay on the wall and there's always something else I'll pick up instead if I go to the wall. The mini block works, but the fences on the side will not stay tight; They're always dropping and I have to readjust while working. The T-squares aren't hugely flawed although the magnetic marker is useless. I never reach for them. I'm pretty sure there's at least one other failure I'm forgetting.
I like the features of the plane, but even if I'm in the market for high end planes there's no way I'm going to risk $670 on the plane and then $150+ per extra sole kit for what amounts to a No. 1 plane with features when I could buy multiple fancy 2-3 fancy Lie-Nielsen planes or 2-4 nice Vertias planes with extra kits and in neither case be worried about finding out later why the product was designed poorly.
Some of these issues like the squares weren't obvious right away.
If I spend on expensive tools, I need to trust they work as designed. Otherwise I could have just bought more cheap tools instead. I have been burned too much even when I was certain this time it couldn't fail. No more.

O, man all of these accessories are too much to use changing blades and souls too 🤷 and that price makes it more complicated for any one to purchase.
Maybe someone is crazy enough to go to, just
Anyway, thanks for sharing .

Woodworking bling... Wait a few years and just like JE & BCT's funky sliding saw it will drop to half it's initial price and still be over priced.

Bridge City tools are very expensive and the bottom line is that they are made in China. I didn't know that until I bought one so I will not be buying anymore.
