I was raised with, “if you don’t stop crying, you’re a failure and no one loves you.” My parents always told me that crying is for the weak, and if I cry it shows signs of weakness. So I grew up always hiding my emotions I didn’t ever cry for 3 years. Until I got into high school and my grandfather died at that point, I didn’t care what my parents said I was gonna cry if I felt like crying. It’s ok to cry sometimes don’t be afraid to show your true feelings! ❤
