Wow pistons like brand new! You can clean that engine up easy. Get new better cam and lifters though. And valve springs

Replacing the cam with a modern computer cam should get a extra horses out of their. THE key with a cam grind is to limit the amount of duration spread between advertised (.004s/SAE) and .050s and keep the valve lift as high as possible. COMP CAMS has a line of cams that do this (Like what Crane Cams did), called Extreme Energy, I Would just throw a set of Rhoads lifters otop of it to widen out the power band.
