Strange... Why would a company (facebook/meta), that is known for their data theft and privacy issues, invest in glasses, that have a camera and microphones directly integrated and basically always active and read all your smartphone data? Take my money, I want it!

Ok, but will the battery last for more than, like, 2 hours? Because the current Meta glasses last about that long if you use them for 2 hours straight. Like, listening to music, for example. The battery is so bad I often turn off the glasses to save the battery. And then when there is something interesting I want to take a picture of, I turn it back on, wait for over a minute for the thing to turn back on, and by then the opportunity is gone. So, yeah.... the battery needs to get WAY better.

Great advancement in wearable visual tech. Unfortunately I'm 83 with cataracts and dry macular degeneration in both eyes, with the possibility of developing wet macular degeneration in my right eye. Currently there's no cure for ATMD(Age Related Macular Degeneration). However stem cell research is making progress toward a cure in the near future.

Advancements are coming so fast it doesn't make sense to buy the latest thing as a year from now it will be obsolete.

I won't be spending on another pair unless they massively improve the speakers. A lot of audible mid range distortion already present at just half volume making female voices and piano sound like trash. Not bass heavy music at all. A camera with zoom would be a nice addition, and horizontal imaging, too. First do these before adding more features.
