Great haul, April! There were several books omit that I'm interested in. Mystic River is excellent; as a matter of fact, you should read everything of Lehane's you can get your hands on.

The Book Of You is the creepiest book I've ever read. It feels so frighteningly realistic. Loved it! And Elizabeth Is Missing is great too! I'm in the dark corner with you having not read Shadow of the Wind ... I have it on my shelf though!

Oh man, this is totally my kind of haul!! Now I'm totally kicking myself that I didn't pick up a copy of Disclaimer when I saw it on sale at Barnes and Noble...it was only 5.98 I think, because now I really want to read it!
Oh my gosh, I really hope you love The Shadow of the Wind! I fee like more than not people love it, but I can't wait to hear what you think of it!!

What a great haul! The Shadow of the Wind was really good. I tried reading Special Topics earlier this year and DNF'd it after about 200 pages 😕 I just couldn't get into it, and it bummed me out because I LOVED Night Film. I hope you like it though!

I started reading Shadow of the Wind, but I didn't finish it before it had to go back to the library. I need to request it again since it's never usually on the shelf. I have Night Film out now, so maybe I'll get to it. I have two books from Paula Hawkins, Girl on the Train and Into the Water.

You are not the only one who has not read Shadow of the Wind. It is sitting on my night table and has been for 3 or 4 months LOL. The Blind Assassin is one I also want to get to, it is one in my Man Booker awards project. I actually pulled Mystic River onto my Kindle from the cloud, that and Any Given Day after talking about Dennis Lehanne in one of your last videos. Leaving Berlin I have but I from some reason I want to read The Good German first even though they are not related. Same with Special Topics I want to read Night Film first even though Special Topics is her first book and not similar to Night Film at all. But I was interested in Night Film first. I'm weird. The Quick sounds really good, adding that to my wishlist.
