The Asus ROG Ally Z1 (Extreme & Non-Extreme) have just had an update tp their Graphics Drivers & the AMD Adrenaline Edition Software that allows you to enable AFMF - a technology that increases the FPS, Frames Per Second, that your Ally Renders, and makes Games run smoother and look better.
In this video tutorial I show you how to update the software and then launch the AMD App & find the settings where you turn AMD's Fluid Motion Frames technology on.
I also tell you the settings you'll need to use on your ROG Ally in order to make AFMF work - your screen must be set to 120hz Refresh Rate, the game must be running in Full-Screen mode, without V-Sync, and with a high frame cap, preferably 120fps.
I've found that even on the Ally Non-Extreme, my first tests indicate that this works well, and games look smoother.
Thanks, Rob.
