Recording digitised using the following equipment:

Turntable: Technics SL-1200G
Cartridge: Audio Technica ART9
Amplifier: Devialet Expert Pro 440

Direct USB connection from the audio system into a MacBook Pro.
No audio manipulation whatsoever, this is straight from the vinyl and on to the finished video.

This is my favorite go-to nostalgic cathartic song. That instrument synth intro reminds of my early childhood during the early 2000's playing on my dad's toyota. It made me sit down, be quiet, and reflect to the music.

I admit its weird getting used to this original album version, as for maybe 15 years id only heard the “Immaculate Collection” version, where the mix differs in places. I was just born too late 😂

The lead off single from TRUE BLUE, released in March 1986, 3 months before TRUE BLUE album was released. The song was a shocker for me - after CRAZY FOR YOU and INTO THE GROOVE charted - in terms of the arrangement, treatment and delivery. TRUE BLUE album is one of the many that made 1986 a very special year for me - it is the soundtrack to my last year as a public school student, sitting for the Nov/Dec GCE A-level Examination.

The best quality version I've ever heard of this song. I don't generally care for Madonna, but this song wasn't actually written by her, only the lyrics.
