Awesome video as always. DJI Action 4 for me when im filming stuff for quality. Go3 and when i just want to film simply and not have a big camera

Definitely the best breakdown I've seen on different action cams. I'm mostly looking to record my travels throughout the world. I am looking to record historical sites, beaches, hotels, ancient ruins, etc... etc... Based on what. you are saying in your video it sounds like my focus should be on image quality and perhaps as much field of view as I possibly can get without sacrificing that quality. I should also say that I am a beginner at this so I am also looking for ease of use and ease of editing/uploading to youtube for the most part.

Osmo action 4 is the one I would be getting for my YT vids. Much better low light than the gopro (currently using an 11)

I honestly think the Osmo Action 4 is still the best action camera for the best price, it has a VERY wide camera angle (much wider than the gopro and ace pro) and also records crips 4k 120fps with insane stabilisation, it also has the same sensor size as the ace pro. It also very easily mounts vertical and horizontal, the mounting system is great!
Thats just my opinion and I think a lot of people will agree❤

Good info. I mostly stick with GoPros. I have tried a few others, including Insta360 cameras, and I agree....type is far more important than brand.

I've seen a lot of videos saying that the go 3 is a no soley because of the resolution but in the way ima use the pros outweigh the cons and this video helped me realize that so thx for that

7:09 Have you seen how Formula1 drivers train their necks to hold up their heads when corning at 5g through a race of 70 fast laps ? Perhaps cyclists could train to hold and manage the weight of a helmet-mounted action camera. The inherent inherent POV affect from on-head mounting and the natural gimbal motions of the cyclist's neck are attractive.

I have both insta360 x3, and gopro Hero11 black. Gopro is way better for mountain biking. Plus, this video doesn't show real gopro footage. Real gopro footage is wayy better.

Hi, For me, a standard action cam has always been the best option, because that's how you make most videos. but I've been wanting more options here for years and wonder why this hasn't been around for a long time? A cam with just a 180 degree lens, with a large sensor so that you can determine the image section, zoom and level the horizon afterwards, just like with a 360. Kind of like the Insta 360 go, except that the end result is a 4k video cut out. Do you know if something is being planned? Sorry for my bad englisch hehe. Best regards Tobi

It would be cool to see a min-max style video, where you take your most ideal camera set up, make a video with it, then repeat the same or similar angles with a budget option to really see what compromises exist when making content. Think Ace pro/X3 vs Go3. P.s., more Petey cameos

I got the 360 go 3 based on your video, I have a Hero 11 and 10 actually, but I had stopped taking them on my daily rides, I can take the Insta stick it in my pocket and use it if something comes up. Anyway, Thanks.

Bird ❤ Have you seen the horizontal cages for the insta x3? I just bought one that lets you mount it this way, where the lens are perfectly centered to your chest mount. It also lets you mount an external mic such as the rode WG2. (somewhat awkwardly). On the other hand, related to lens protection you can also find some glass lens covers that will degrade your image in such a low ammount that is barely noticeable.

Hello. I want to live stream while fishing by sharing the internet from my phone. As far as I know, Gopro can also record to SD card while live streaming. Is there the same feature in Insta360 Ace pro, DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Osmo Action 4? Which one do you recommend for live streaming?
