Hahah I was gonna make a review of this too! Not sure if I can sit through the class after hearing this lol. The ad does make it look pretty enticing though!

"I don't feel like I learned anything", yeah that pretty much sums up my experience as an architecture student for 3 years. We literally leaned nothing about design or techniques or skills to help us. They just gave us projects with vague parameters and let's us stumble around blindly.

really? no drowning? our prof was always encouraging us to draw sketches and perspectives with the atmosphere of the space, to express in them what we want people to feel in that space.. and lots of times i need to put it on the paper first to "see it"

Most of the people judge buildings by its visual language ...its physical form and not the invisible aspect embedded in the form or volume contained in the form ...and that can be achived only by experiencing that space ..This judgement is happening only for peoples like gehry, libeskind, bjarke ingels n lot more ...
The ultimate aim of any building is to express an emotion or feeling ..or a sense of belongingness when experiencing that space ..to create an enclosure for the spirit of the space to exist and when the users spirit finds the invisible spirit of the space ... then the architecture works ...form doesnt matter ...its all about creating this unmeasurable n invisible aspect in architecture ...THE PRESENCE OF ABSENCE ... gehry has achived that..libeskind has achived that thru his museum for jewish in berlin and 9/11 masterplan in new york ..People should return to books and encountering real architecture instead of peeping in youtube channels for knowing architecture ..

Everyone are masters ..they know what to do n what not to do ...but some people like gehry, zaha, libeskind are diff in their artistic expression ..Their visual language is new to our eyes coz we have never seen that before ...doesnt mean that its not true architecture ..when we take zumthor n juhani pallasma, they create this same emotion thru their visual language ..so its about individuals aesthetics ..Everyones perception and understanding of the world is different n not the same ...so there is nothing like this is correct n this is wrong ... Its about individuality n each ones perception and imagination ..This is my understanding of architecture ..Juhani pallasma's The eyes of the skin book is a medicine for visual judging young architects out here ...Go read ..GUD LUCK 😎

Thank you - I HATE Robert Moses. I'm in my late 60s, so I had the misfortune of seeing him do his damage to New York in real time. I obviously can't let go of my issues, lol.

Honestly YouTube has the base knowledge of anything anyone could ever want but it is strange that a subscription based service didn’t have much practical knowledge.

we were talking about it in the lesson of theory and history 6 and someone proposed that the school would buy subscriptions for the students to see how it is but deffenitly now there is kind of a review to tell the class about, tx!

That’s so disappointing! There’s so much he could’ve talked about for architecture, there’s an infinite amount to learn.

This reminded me of my college professor who would talk shit about Gehry's designs for the whole session whenever his name comes up during our discussions in History of Architecture

This woman has no idea what she is talking about, just listening to you I lost a cell brain.
Hearing Frank or Norman foster among others is like hearing the old great philosophers.
I listen to you architects of the now and the past era or line of architects that existed or continue to live and is a shame.

Just finish hearing norman foster for 20 minutes and it was life, your complete body paralyzed your ear are following every word they said, and I hear you guys now no SUBSTANCE, WMPTY is sad….
