Learn the lesson. I think that's the hardest one, especially when you're suffering in pain and agony in the moment. Acceptance of the way a situation happens to be is learning the lesson. Being powerfully stubborn is how we will survive something exceptionally painful. The "sink or swim" philosophy. And the last, being specific in what we want, and not generalize, I think also helps to get through trauma and refocus our lives from a traumatic experience and situation. I'm going through this now. Again. For the second time in two years. I have to accept the situation as it is and refocus my life into a different direction. Easier said than done, when you're raked, and gutted by a narcissistic sociopath.(am absolutely in love with him. Lucky me) Please send positive and happy vibes if you can, I need them. 💔

My father passed after a short illness, his only thought with his dying breath was not to be a burden. Selfless, strong and happy men know when it is their time and pass on, my goal is that I'm as fulfilled at that time.

Hi, I just want to say I LOVE your YouTube morivational videos and seriously they are helping me see things in a more logical, common sense strengthening way emotionally, spiritually and physically!
I just want to say I am very sorry about the loss of your dad. I have lost my dad this year Feb. 15th he had open heart surgery 5 bypasses done and was on the ECMO machine and dialysis we were there when we decided to have him removed from all machines and they gave him morphine and versid to help him pass on. I hugged him as he took his last breath and he had his eyes open gasping for air shook then passed on.
My dad passing and the love me, my mom and sisters had for him a loving, good active man until age 77 yrs. Seemed to trigger my husband of 15 yrs with 2 daughters 13 yrs and 15 yrs. Into taking his mask off and going full blown Narcissist on me with dad gone! He started talking insults belittling my sisters and me to our daughters, started more fights verbally and emotionally more with me and total neglect of care, comfort or emapthy with the loss of my dad and pain from his loss.
He showed his true colors even more so to me and I never heard of the characteristics of a Narcissist. He has them! It is everyone else's fault for his attacks on us and actions no responsibility or concern of how his bad behavior is affecting others adding MORE pain to our grief!! He abandoned me and our 2 girls ran off to his parents who baby him "He does No wrong." In their eyes. They are blaming our oldest daughter for all his attacks since my dad has passed which she did nothing wrong and was on the sadly receiving end. I see her and my older sister as their or his scapegoats! On an account for watching my dad suffer and begged God to please, not to take him too as you felt.
He was a truely loving, hard working, active, compassionate, funny rare good man & a father/ grandpa who cared about his wife, kids and even other abandoned kids by divorce in our neighborhood loved working on cars, owned his own construction co. And cared about others an Empth. My husbands disdain and cold attitude woke me up to seeing him for who he truely is AND that he does NOT care about me or our girls!! I ended up standing solid against his attacks and speaking all the TRUTH about him and his bad behavior protecting my family, my girls and my dad's memory an image in my mind of his gasping and suffering on those machines as I sobbed hugging him. A genunine GOOD man dying missing his kind hearted way. To an now, demonic man removing his mask NO emapthy for me OR my family?!! HELL NO! This is why my husband ran off because I finally stood my ground against him and in honor of my dad speaking the facts & truth!
He could not handle it screaming 5 inches from my face how I will regret it etc..
Me: Not afraid bring it!
No more I do not care if I live in a cardboard box or he takes everything as he has split our checking account and threatening control over our money as I have been a stay at home mom for 13 yrs. I am now 4 classes away from my AAS degree and 2 away from my AA degree! It ALL has given me strength to get out asap, and move on protecting me, our girls and my mom & sisters now! My husband and his family are rich and he does not NEED to work and they pay him thousands as if he were a doctor babying him yet I see it as a control over him by his parents and enabling him not growing up over protective! I do pity him and see the bigger picture. He is NOT HAPPY even if he has anything he wanted and the best of everything. I am finally NOW seeing it for what it has always been and have a name and a direction I can go with to help me and our girls from abuse and get stronger! Thank you!
I love your voice and I keep listening to your YouTube video "Stop caring when they do NOT care about You & hurt you!" I have listened to it about 10x's now! I need to face the facts and truth myself in honor of my dad and start loving and caring about myself!
I miss my dad's funny sense of humor when I was down or my sister's he would listen and tried to cheer us up, support or give us motivation pep talks.
