Respect. I’m a decent mechanic but machinists are next level.

Henry Ford would be happy to see his creation was taken care of so well.

What surprises me is after 90 years that engine is still rebuildable.

That’s incredible that you know so much that you can refurbish 100 year old engine.

I'm glad there's still people rebuilding things instead of just throwing them away.

Modernizing old engines is so satisfying. Huge performance boost, plus an actual accurate horsepower calculation.

As a retired mechanic of 51 years. I remember working on side valve engines. Memories 😊😊

As an old school mechanic I sure do appreciate seeing a job well done.

I grew up with a working Model A in the front yard. Her name was Aggie.
She was converted into a pickup truck.
The A was one of the most versatile vehicles ever assembled.

Watching metal work being done well is so beautiful. I did aircraft structures maintenance for 25 years and I will always appreciate seeing good machining.

It's always great when an old engine gets redone instead of replaced

I would be interested to know if there was any power increase given the improvements or if it just became much more efficient and reliable. After 90 years of use the block would be well seasoned and any internal stress issues cured, so all the surface grinding would have squared it all up. I enjoy seeing a seemingly deceased part renewed and put back into service.
